Lorawan is not the Revelation of IOT , it is a product of IOT, IOT existed long before LoraWan came along. It is wrong to believe they are IOT, it is nonsense, anybody can buy cheap Nano , PI and other boards and build your own solution for a fraction of the cost. The Security industry has been using the technology from the days of Analogue and the first to go digital with sensors, controller boards, Radio's Phone lines etc.

I've tested this produkt in several homes and i'm not impressed with the building quality. Several of these devices have failed both mechanical and electronical. Futhermore there is no indication of the direktion you have to turn the thermostat to increase og decrease the setpoint. In terms of connectivity its a very fine produkt with long range.

Nice clear video however it doesn't seem to work for me. I simply receive no data (had the same problem with mosquitto). The autorisation seems okay, I see data on my live view when I am logged into TTN but nothing via MQTT. Any ideas?

Hi Ben, thank you for the helpful videos. I am new to LoRa WAN and need a little help. I have an ESP32 end node measuring temperature and humidity, connected to my LoRa WAN Gateway, and connected to the TTN server. I can see my data on the TTN console. My next step is to connect my home MQTT server with TTN MQTT. I would like to visualize my TTN traffic on my Home Assistant setup. I have created the MQTT integration under the application label. What I would like your help with is how to have the TTN MQTT talk with my home MQTT. I cannot find the relevant documentation or video to help with this setup. If you can point me in the right direction, I would be grateful. Thank you.

Dear Thomas, I really liked your presentation. You have the talent to explain this technology in a very very clear way. I am somebody who likes to understand as much as possible, and therefore was this presentation a joy to listen too. I have recently read some articles in the Elector magazine about LoRa, but problem there is that the articles are very very poor regarding a clear explanation. One small remark: the part where you explain the demodulation, you can add the Y-axis notation to the graph, to make clear the different 128 symbols are actually different 128 (base) frequencies, you later distill by FFT/DFT.
